Compliance Risk Management Coordinator
Position Summary:Ensures that applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements are met in a proactive manner. Participates in development of processes/systems designed to share and recognize performance improvements and compliance across the organization to mitigate risks to patient and caregiver safety/risks to the organization.Provides training, education and in servicing of workforce.
Required: 1-3 years’ work experience in Healthcare HIPAA Compliance Risk Management
Preferred: with experience relative to providing work force training, education and in-services aimed at reducing risk.
Required: Associate’s degree in a related field
Preferred: Bachelor's in a related field preferred
License and Credentials
Required: Related Compliance and Privacy Certification required within 2 years of hire
Preferred: Certified HIPAA Privacy and Security (CHPS), or Certified HIPAA Privacy Certification (CHPC), or RHIT / RHIA
Required: Ability to read/understand regulatory requirements; attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Strong public speaking skills. Must be organized and a multi-tasker. Proficiency in Outlook, Word,
Preferred: Proficiency in Excel and the use of Zoom
HOURS: 80 per pay period
Associates of Art or better in Related field.
