Description
Position Summary: Provide secretarial support to the Department of Electrophysiology, Pacing and EP Lab. This includes but is not limited to telephone support, procedure report assembly and transcription, billing, patient support services and provide secretarial support of multiple assigned physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of medical secretarial experience. Cardiac Services experience preferred. PC experience. Transcription experience.
Education: Secretarial or business school up to 2 years duration preferred.
Required License / Credentials: None
Other Required Skills: Excellent PC skills to include: advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access. Advanced medical terminology. Familiar with database management. Transcription and typing minimum 50 wpm, and attention to detail required. Excellent phone manners, language, and organizational skills required. Ability to perform well and make quick decisions in a fast paced multitask environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating flexibility, diplomacy, tact, and foresight. Performs well working in a stress fast paced environment. Enjoys working in a team environment.
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Work Schedule: M - F
