Graphic and Communication Coordinator
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manager/Media and/or VP Marketing/Media/PR, designs and creates art necessary for the production of media related products including printed and digital material, computer images, and video programs. Support the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and processes to advance Deborah’s visibility, increase brand awareness, strengthen impact and lead to long-term sustainability through internal and external communications. Work both independently and in a team setting.
Experience: 3 to 5 years computer graphics systems/media production environment required.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Art/Illustration/Design/Computer Graphics) Marketing/Communications related required.
Required Skills: 3 to 5 years Macintosh experience. The position requires the skills of an accomplished graphic artist – i.e. possess an understanding of the creative development process; have the ability to apply conceptual design, color theory, graphic design, web, digital and pre-press, including layout, typography color, and retouching concepts; exceptional eye/hand coordination. Ability to multitask and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment. Must be experienced in MAC platform and its peripherals. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver. Experience with QuarkXPress and WordPress. Ability to use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Strong verbal, writing, editing and web/multimedia skills.
