Description
Position Summary: Responsible for providing strategic and tactical HR partnership to assigned department managers and staff to create and sustain a workplace culture of engagement and high performance and contribute to the achievement of people- and culture-related business objectives. Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the organization, team members, departments and culture. Experience 3 years’ responsible experience in HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, employee engagement required; experience gained in a health care environment preferred. |
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent, comparable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. |
License and Credentials Required: Valid driver’s license. Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); or Strategic HR Business Partner (SHRBP) certification. |
Skills Required: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; outstanding critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills. Able to operate with considerable tact, discretion, and astute judgement. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment-related laws, regulations, and practices required. Preferred: Knowledge of NJ employment-related law The minimum starting rate for this position is $34.64 When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
