Description
Position Summary: Supports the Meditech Electronic Health Record (EHR/RIS), the Siemens Syngo Dynamics Image Viewer, Aspyra Radiology PACs, and Epiphany Cardio Server Management system under the direct supervision of the Director of Imaging. Responsible for the successful ongoing operations of the multiple vendor systems including upgrades and interaction between other hospital-based systems such as EHR/RIS and PACS. Responsibilities of this position span across Deborah to include all Hospital and Ambulatory based settings in support of Deborah Heart and Lung Center at 200 Trenton Road, including but not limited to the following locations: Ambulatory Clinic area, Imaging Departments (Nuclear, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Echo), Emergency Department. On-call after hours support rotation Education Required: Associates degree in a related discipline such as Imaging Technology (NM, US, RAD, etc.), Computer Science, General Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or equivalent on the job training in EHR/RIS or PACS: (4) years’ experience may be substituted for associates degree. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline such as Imaging Technology (NM, US, RAD, etc.), Computer Science, General Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Business. |
Experience Required: Imaging Informatics and clinical imaging processing knowledge and experience required. General troubleshooting, problem solving and multi-tasking ability Preferred: 3 – 5 year PACS analyst, radiology technologist, radiology information system specialist, information technology, or information systems experience in a health care setting. |
License and Credentials Required: None Preferred: Any of the following certifications: ITIL v.3, PMP, MCSE, MCSA, CIIP, CAHIMS/CPHIMS, CHTS, RHIT A+, NMTCB, ARDMS, RDMS --- or any Networking, Security, Virtualization, Data Center related certs. |
Skills Required: Working knowledge of clinical information systems. Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with a diverse group of people. Preferred: Skilled with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS). Working knowledge of PACS, Imaging department workflows. Hours: Full-time 80 hours per pay period EEO |
