Position Summary:  Responsible for reviewing and analyzing revenue cycle charges for quality, accuracy and appropriate documentation.  Ensures accuracy of CPT and ICD10 codes prior to bill processing.  Processes unpaid and incorrectly paid accounts by contacting payers and patients appropriately documenting each account.  Works on appeals and rejections to ensure the practice receives appropriate reimbursement.        

Experience

Required: 1 to 3 years in healthcare billing/collections or related field with a working knowledge of physician billing.

Preferred: Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
