Description
Position Summary:Supports Transfer Center departmental operations through the performance of clerical activates; intra/inter departmental communication, entry of demographics into hospital and department systems, medical record preparation for transfers. |
Experience - Required: None - Preferred: Previous experience as unit coordinator or previous clerical/secretarial experience |
Education - Required: High School Degree or equivalency ; - Preferred: Unit coordinator course and/or secretarial and computer training |
License and Credentials - Required: None - Preferred: |
Skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organization and time management skills, computer skills, basic knowledge of medical terminology; ability to use standard office equipment including fax machine, multi-line phones, and copiers; ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently |
Populations Served - Child: Infant (0-1); Toddler (1-3); Preschool (3-6); School Age (6-12); Adolescent (12-18); - Adult: Early Adult (19-45); Middle Adult (46-59); Late Adult (60-79); Late, Late Adult (Over 80) HOURS: 80 hours per pay period days EOE |
