Position Summary: In Collaboration with the Attending Physicians, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in the Cardiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas. You will work with a team of Advanced Clinical Practice Providers, Nurses and Technicians to evaluate and manage patients. Experience Required: At least 1-year experience in Critical Care or Telemetry inpatient care. Preferred: Prefer Cardiology experience, either as Advanced Practice Provider or in Nursing. Orientation will be customized based on experience. |
Education Required: Master�s degree or greater. Graduate from an ANA accredited School of Nursing. |
License and Credentials Required: Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse through a specialty association. Current CDS and DEA licenses required. Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure. |
Skills Required: Maintains a flexible schedule to ensure patient and staff needs are addressed/ documented in a timely manner. Proficiency with electronic health records and database management required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT; well organized, detail oriented, multi-tasking. |
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Work Schedule: M- F (4) 10 hour Shifts
The minimum starting salary for this position is $115k-$145K
When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
