Position Summary: Position Summary: Participation in the clinical activities of Deborah Heart and Lung Center Hospital Inpatient Service. Responsible daily evaluation and management (under physician supervision) billing, customer service and clinical responsibilities, utilization and performance of duties to practice within the job responsibilities outlined in the Advanced Practice Nurse Collaborative agreement, and further defined by the practice protocols developed and approved in collaboration with the Department Chairman. Experience Preferred: Minimum 3-5 years nursing and critical care experience with strong Cardiology background preferred |
Education Required: Master�s degree or greater. Graduate from an ANA accredited School of Nursing. |
License and Credentials Required: Current NJ License as a Registered Nurse and Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Current CDS and DEA licenses required within 6 months of employment. Current CPR and ACLS certification required. Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure. |
Skills Required: Maintain required continuing education credits, current, and completes required education for nurse practitioner recertification of 20 hours of category 1 contact hours/year. 50% of the overall credits per 5 years must be from an approved ANCC provider. Computer proficiency is also required. |
HOURS: Full-time 80 hours per pay period
The minimum starting rate for this position is $53.13
