Description
Position Summary: Performs electrocardiograms studies on outpatients and inpatients. Prepares patients for continuous Holter and Event/MCT monitoring. Collect and enter appropriate data accordingly for enrolling patients in online web based system for Holter/Event/MCT devices. Assign ECG/Holter/Event monitor studies through Epiphany Cardio Server System. Provide patient instruction related to Holter monitor and Event/MCT set-up. Prepares patient for/and performs cardiac stress testing for Echo and Nuclear Labs. Performs direct and non-direct patient care duties and technical tasks as assigned. Experience: Minimum 0-6 months ECG experience |
Education: Required: High School/GED. Preferred: Graduate of approved allied health program preferred or completion of Patient Care or Multi-skilled Tech certification program also preferred. |
License and Credentials Required: CPR/BLS certification |
Skills Required: Recognition of cardiac arrhythmias HOURS: FT 80 hours per pay period |
