Description
Position Summary: Plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages medical nutrition therapy activities within the institution. Monitors and provides direction/leadership to the clinical dietitians, diet office staff and other support staff as needed. Develops and implements policies and procedures. Develops, implements and reports quality assessment and process improvement activities. Serves on patient care committees. Oversees the operation and effectiveness of the diet office software. Functions as moderator for the Nutrition Support Team Committee and the Diabetes Working Group. |
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree Dietetics / Nutrition Preferred: Master’s Degree in Dietetics / Nutrition |
License and Credentials Required: Registered Dietitian |
Skills Required: Able to read, write and speak the English language. Clinical Skills for performing nutrition assessments for patients and documenting nutrition care plans, interpreting lab values and knowledge of enteral and parenteral support. Hours: Full-time 80 hours per pay period. The minimum starting rate for this position is $29.92 When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
