Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Environmental Services. Performs Environmental Services and Building Services assignments and duties that are required to maintain the established level of aseptic cleanliness, and safety throughout the nursing/patient area’s, patient related areas, and the non-patient areas of the main hospital buildings.

Experience:.0 to 6 months experience

Education: High School or G.E.D preferred

Required License / Credentials:None

Other Required Skills:Must have understanding of English Language.

Contact With Others:Little or no contact except with immediate associates and own supervisor.

Supervision Given:  No direct supervisory responsibility.  Provides guidance and direction to team members during daily operations and assumes shift leadership responsibilities in the Supervisor's absence by coordinating workflow and directing staff to ensure operational needs are met.

Supervision Received:  Works under the general direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor.  Exercises independent judgement in carrying out assigned responsibilities and coordinating daily operations.  Consults with the supervisor regarding complex operational issues, personnel concerns, policy interpretation, or situations requiring management approval.

80 hours bi-weekly

1st Shift Lead:  Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

The minimum starting rate for this position is $18.20
