• Position Summary: Performs diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures in various specialty sections of the clinical laboratory in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Experience -         Required:. -         Preferred: 1-3 years’ experience working as a Medical Laboratory Technician in a moderate to high complexity clinical laboratory testing environment, meeting or exceeding the regulatory CLIA testing personnel requirements

  Education -         Required: Associate's degree in Applied Science (A.A.S.) -         Preferred: Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution or military service equivalent required

  License and Credentials -         Required: -         Preferred: ASCP, NCA, or AMT certification

  Skills -         Required: Excellent critical thinking skills. Verbal and written communication at college level. Experience with instrumentation and manual methods commonly utilized in a clinical lab setting. Accurately and efficiently analyzes specimens. Phlebotomy competency. -         Preferred: Proficiency with hospital and lab information systems, Microsoft Word & Excel.

Work Schedule: Per Diem

MLT rate $40.00

MT rate $45.00
