Position Summary: The Department of Pediatric Cardiology is seeking an organized Patient Service Representative.

Experience

Required:

1-2 years� experience in a physician office and/or healthcare setting.

1-2 years� patient scheduling experience

Ability to multi-task, requires excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and computer skills to include knowledge of an electronic medical system.

Knowledge of insurance referral requirements, and securing authorizations

Education

Required: High School, GED or equivalent required. Prefer some documentation of continuing education courses

License and Credentials   - None

Skills

Required: Medical Terminology and Anatomy/Physiology Courses, or working knowledge of same. Excellent PC skills to include: advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access. Knowledge of electronic medical system (Meditech preferred, not required). Bilingual preferred but not required
