Description
Position Summary: Responsible for patient care in conjunction with the Attending Physician. Responsibilities include but not limited to, daily patient rounds and notes, admissions, discharges, urgent/emergent care, triage coverage and ACS coverage and communicating with the Attending Physician pertinent information involving patient care. |
Experience: Experience in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases is desired but not required. |
Education: Must be a graduate of a certified Physician Assistant Program. Bachelors Degree current NCCPA & NJ State PA.,CDS and DEA licenses required. |
Required License/Credentials/Skills: Broad skills in management of cardiovascular disease, both on general inpatients as well as in critical care highly desirable. Other experience, such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, pacing and interventional cardiology is desirable but not mandatory. Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure. |
Contact With Others: Regular internal and/or external contact involving considerable tact, discretion, and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action of consent. |
Supervision Given: Responsibilities of the position may require supervision of PA students. |
Supervision Received: Performs duties commensurate with approved privileges, following established procedures and reporting to immediate supervisor. HOURS: Full-time 80 hours per pay period The starting salary range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000 When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
