Description
Position Summary: Assesses, plans, provides for and evaluates the delivery of nursing services within the PCS department. Facilitates the integration of nursing policies and standards into practice. Ensures quality of care, patient satisfaction and staff competency. Directs the nursing management team in the daily operation of patient care areas. Works within the department and as an integral part of the Center’s leadership team to operationalize patient care and service goals and objectives established by the administrative leadership team.
Experience
- Required: Minimum five to seven years nursing experience and three years nursing supervisory or management experience
- Preferred: None
Education
- Required: Bachelors’ degree in nursing required, Masters’ degree in nursing or healthcare related field required.
- Preferred: None
License and Credentials
- Required: NJ State Nursing License
- Preferred: BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
Skills
- Required: Critical thinking, analytical thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, basic computer skills
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Work Schedule: M - F
The minimum starting salary for this position is $120,000, this position is also bonus eligible.
When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
