Position Summary: Under general supervision, responsible for performing professional functions using established policies and procedures, precedents and guidelines and does related work as required. This position has significant responsibilities in the areas of timely and accurate data entry to ensure that all volunteer information are accurately recorded in the Raiser�s Edge (RE) database. This position is responsible for onboarding and training volunteers.

Experience

Required: 2 years related experience

 Preferred: Experience working with volunteers in a nonprofit, healthcare setting

                    Experience with Raiser�s Edge

Education

Required: High School diploma or equivalent

License and Credentials

Required: none

Skills

Required:

  • Knowledge of Volunteer coordination and the related policies and procedures that support this stewardship
  • Knowledge in areas Onboarding, training and record keeping
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs / Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential volunteer information with sensitivity, integrity and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in accordance with supervisory input
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate policy and procedural requirements related to industry trends and produce data.

Preferred:

  • 3 + years of volunteer coordination
  • Strong Raiser�s edge experience

The minimum starting rate for this position is $18.52

When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
